California's population is larger than Canada.
It is very easy and sometimes justified to make fun of the California Department of Motor Vehicles, or express frustration when the Secretary of State does not approve your business name on time.
The government staff in Sacramento is frustrated with their own leadership, who never meet with their staff and often give them conflicting instructions.
The California Legislature is a basket case.
But that is not the real problem.
The legislature passes laws, but does it really matter if the laws are passed if the Executive Branch, and millions of California Civil servants are given no direction on how to enforce the laws?
What can I do if I am elected? Will I have the power to pass laws? No.
Can I make sure that the laws in the Executive Branch are enforced. Yes!
